Why
is it so inexpensive? By limiting our services to just grass cutting and lightening
the workload of our administration with automatic billing,
we are able to keep our costs low.
When
does our contract end? There is no contract
with us. Your service will continue from season to season
unless you inform us you would like to cancel your service.
We do however have a 4 cut minimum. Cancellations
before the 4 cut minimum are subject to a $30 cancellation
fee. We reserve the right to refuse service to any property
if need be.
What
about skipping a cut? All of our weekly
clients may skip up to 2 times per season with 24 hours notice.
Unfortunately, we do not offer non-weekly clients a skip option.
If a client fails to notify us by 12:00pm the business day
before scheduled service they will be serviced and charged
accordingly.
How
do I cancel? Simply call or E-mail us
by 12:00pm the business day before your next service or you
will be serviced and charged accordingly. If you have not
fulfilled your 4 cut minimum commitment, you will be charged
a $30 cancellation fee.
Can
I switch between weekly and bi-weekly service? We do allow you to switch from bi-weekly to weekly, but
not weekly to bi-weekly except during dry spells in the
summer.
How
many mows per year? We begin mowing
all client's lawns approximately the last week of March
and continue until the first week of November. Weekly clients
will have their lawns cut approximately 32 times and bi-weekly
clients approximately 16 times.
What
about raining? If its raining buckets,
we will reschedule your mow to the following day. If the
rain is light, we will mow which is partly why we use 21"
mowers so there is no damage to your lawn.
What
if I lock my gate? If you have a gated
area, we ask you to use a combination lock and provide us
with the combination. If we arrive and cannot access a gated
area, we will cut what we can and you will still be charged
full price.
What
if I have a dog or pet? As much as
we love pets, they will most likely not like the mowers
or having strangers in their yard, so we ask that you keep
your pet inside on mowing day. We will not mow in an area
where a pet is present. We also ask you to clean up after
your pets, we do not expect our employees to mow areas that
are full of "doggy suprises".
Do
you edge flower beds? Yes, we will
edge tree rings and plant beds and all sidewalks, fences,
driveways and other surfaced areas bordered by grass will
be edged every other mowing during the growing season. Turf
around sprinkler heads will be trimmed.
When
do you charge my credit card? All credit/debit
cards are billed the day following your service. Friday
clients will be billed the same day as service.
